In the context of a global push for sustainable development, the effective utilization of waste paper and the reduction of demand for virgin paper fibers have become increasingly important. “RE-PAPER” are toy building blocks made from recycled waste paper, transformed into paper-based materials through molded pulp technology. This process repurposes waste paper into engaging and highly interactive modular blocks, extending the lifecycle of paper by substituting it for wood-based materials.
  • Brand design The logo of the PAPER continuation frame is consistent with the geometric modular design style of the product, embodying the composition characteristics of wood accumulation, geometric shapes, and splicing. The graphic logo is derived from the English word "RE·PAPER", representing the 3R operation principle of waste paper recycling in a circular economy. It is a geometric graphic logo generated through the construction and splicing of modules. The main color tone is selected in the original color of pulp (off-white, light brown) to enhance the natural texture and strengthen the "zero waste" environmental protection attribute. The color scheme of the building block products is warm and bright. Pink represents emotional connection, sunny yellow represents resource recycling, and trust blue represents environmental responsibility, echoing the overall circular economy background of the product design.
  • Graphic narrative design and modeling language Transform the "Tazi culture" from a social phenomenon into a design language, endowing the product with contemporaneity and topicality. Six frequently discussed "building block scenarios" are selected and presented in the form of modular narrative transformation into graphic design: meal building block, milk tea building block, slacking off building block, study building block, lying flat building block, and working building block. The building block module patterns echo the social needs and emotional connections of the target users, establishing a deep emotional connection between users and the product. In graphic design, a geometric and minimalist fashion style is adopted: maintaining a visual language consistent with the product as a whole, with geometric shapes as surfaces and slightly thicker white edges of building blocks as lines to divide the picture. Strengthen the emotional connection between the product and the user through abstract and simple visual elements.
  • Balance the challenge of paper building blocks and packaging design In the basic module combination form, a balance base and dice that can be used together with recycled waste paper materials are added. By throwing the dice, the color blocks of the graphics to be built on the balance base are determined. During this process, one or more people can take turns to build together to achieve social attributes, integrating social competitive elements to enhance the user's sense of participation. It also enables the building blocks to achieve a high degree of flexibility and interactivity in use, meeting the needs of personalized game strategies. Make the product play flexible and diverse, increase user stickiness and usage frequency of the product.
