Based on more than half a month of field research in Gualing, I found that there are already local artists in the area and a community among them has been established. At the same time, I also found that villagers in the local community are " participated" and village affairs are handled by the village cadres without giving full play to the villagers' main character. The project integrates participatory art into the local community, combining local artists and inviting villagers to participate in art activities, building a platform for participation, cooperation, and human communication in the Gualing community, allowing villagers to give full play to their subjectivity and creativity, and thus strengthening the sense of community. The design operation selects six spatial nodes in Gualing, forming a closed-loop roaming path that connects the new village with the old village and responds to the historical river path. The specific spatial nodes are designed for the workshops of local artists and the public space of the village, providing objects to support the participatory art activities and at the same time stimulating the creativity of the villagers to actively participate in the secondary design of the spatial installations, forming a public space jointly constructed by the villagers.
