The project is located in Gansu painting academy, Chengguan District, Lanzhou city. The project is positioned as the transformation of public buildings. Due to the limitations of the original building materials and space forms, the building is rebuilt and designed in this scheme. We live in a world full of boundaries, but these boundaries did not exist before. In addition to physical boundaries, more boundaries are divided by humans. For example, "Heaven" and "Earth" "It is considered as an independent concept, but in fact they are related to each other. The design aims to broaden the spiritual boundary, liberate the shackles, and create a modern, dynamic and artistic new painting academy space. The plot faces the South River and has good landscape conditions. Considering that Gansu, as one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization, has laid a solid cultural foundation in Lanzhou, our overall architectural design adopts heavy stones and space shape The style adopts a large bay pattern of 8.4m, rough design style and exquisite modeling treatment, which can increase the indoor lighting and thermal insulation performance. On the premise of meeting the basic functions of the building, it reflects the local unique cultural heritage and fully integrates it with modern life, which not only reflects the inheritance of local culture, but also has the modern and open humanistic atmosphere. The design of open large floor to ceiling windows, toughened glass ceiling of the roof and open patio emphasizes the integration of human and environment, architecture and layout, space and human behavior, architecture and greening, urban space and environment, meets the use function of the building itself, increases its architectural aesthetic value and humanistic and historical value, and adds feasibility value proof in the development of green buildings.
