Design for the Revitalization of Macao's Earthen Sites - Macao Walled City Museum

Architectural heritage conservation is an interdisciplinary field. The author understands the walls of Macao through material testing and ancient map research, resolves the contradiction between the conservation of the cultural values of Macao's walls and the needs of Macao's high-density urban development through architectural design, and tries to explore new methods and approaches with an interdisciplinary approach in order to achieve the purpose of preserving the physical walls of Macao and passing on their intrinsic cultural values.
